Originally from western Liguria, he took up the guitar at the age of 13.
When he came of age, he began studying music at an important institute in Milan, where he graduated in 2010 and began an intense live and teaching career that continues to this day. He then continued studying the instrument, specialising further at the Modern Music Institute with Alex Stornello, who in turn qualified him as an authorised MGI teacher and director of the Modern Music Institute Vallecrosia .
